The City of Hazleton has opened the first phase of its new intermodal center, Church Street Station. The transportation center is located at 126 Mine Street just south of center city’s Broad Street. Church Street Station is providing residents of Greater Hazleton with a central hub for local, regional and long-distance bus transportation.

Church Street Station now serves as the transit and operations center for Hazleton Public Transit. HPT passengers can board HPT buses, purchase bus passes, and obtain customer support services at the new facility. Church Street Station has been designed to accommodate future phases, which could add additional amenities including parking decks, retail space and offices.
